Khorixas Restcamp Activities
There are a number of fascinating geological formations in the area including the petrified forest at Khorixas, about a 30 minute drive from Khorixas rest camp, and the organ pipes at Twyfelfontein. While the organ pipes may be fascinating, Twyfelfontein is best known for its rock art. Less than 100km from Khorixas, Twyfelfontein is Namibia's UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is possible to visit Twyfelfontein on a day trip from Khorixas if you wish, or as part of your journey to Torra Bay and the Skeleton Coast.

In fact you can find rock art all over this area of Namibia, there is also the famous "White Lady" rock art at Brandberg further south of Twyfelfontein, and at Spitzkoppe even further south closer to Windhoek.
